Progesys opens a new office in Dubai, UAE. The Dubai office located in the strategic area of Dubai Investment Park will support the increased activities of the company in the region. Specialized staff elected to work in the new office provides the same quality service that made the recognition of Progesys for the last 8 years.

Progesys provides pre-commissioning and commissioning services for a new mining project in the Côte-Nord region of Quebec, Canada. The project require an investment of over 400M$ and enable the production of nearly seven million tons of iron ore concentrate per year.

Progesys provides project control and risk management services for the pre-feasability phase of a major project in the aluminum industry. The project includes the expansion of a smelter and the capacity increase of several existing installations with a capital investment of over 1 Billion Dollars.

Progesys and Fives Solios complete the commissioning of new installations at Rio Tinto Alcan Arvida plant. The project included the replacement of existing epuration systems with two (2) new bag filters for the carbon calcination and the treatment of Sulfur Dioxide as per the environement requirements.

Progesys announces the completion on time, within budget, and with a triple-Zero safety record of the Pre-operational verifications and testing for the new Rio Tinto Alcan SPL treatment pilot plant in Saguenay, Canada. Progesys also assisted the client operation team in the Start-up phase. The Inauguration of the plant will take place on June 12, 2008 (Watch the Video)
